PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — People across the U.S. will celebrateLabor Day on Monday, which recognizes the achievements of workers and the American labor movement.
Many people celebrating will take part in or watch parades. According to the West Central Illinois Labor Council, here are some of the ones that will take place around central Illinois:
The Bloomington-Normal Labor Day Parade will be followed by a dinner in Miller Park for union members and their families. The parade will start at Front and Center Streets at 10 a.m.
