The Washington Post notes that one may wonder how far back one can bend their wrist. In a typical individual, the wrist can flex, or bend, backwards by approximately 30 to 60 degrees. This range allows for a significant amount of mobility, but it also has its limitations. For instance, it may not be possible to touch one’s heel to one’s backside… as the shape of the — and the angle of the legs may not permit it.
