British rower, Kat Glover, is gearing up for her fourth Olympic Games, but this time around, her focus is on the day-to-day challenges of training rather than the pressure of Olympic success.
Glover, who has won gold medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, has been dealing with the physical toll of training while also caring for her twin babies. Despite the challenges, Glover is determined to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where she will be competing in the coxless four event.Glover’s journey to the Olympics has not been without its challenges. After giving birth to her twins in 2020, she announced her retirement from the sport, only to change her mind and begin training again six months later.

This time around, Glover is taking a more straightforward approach to her preparation, having gained valuable racing experience in the years since her last Olympics.

With a renewed sense of purpose, she has set her sights on Paris 2024, which she sees as the next, and likely final, step of her Olympic journey.
