People Magazine is reporting that Michelle Brink, a digital writer at PEOPLE, is getting ready to celebrate her upcoming wedding. For her bachelorette, Brink has expressed her desire to step out in style, insisting that she wants “fun outfits for everyone” that she will get to enjoy while participating in various pre-wedding festivities. This sentiment was echoed by Brink during a recent conversation, where she disclosed her preference for uniformity in outfit choice as a way to alleviate planning stress.

Brink has shared that she has barely started planning her bachelorette party events, yet she has come to a surprising consensus on a main color theme that is repeated for multiple garments – white, for instance, “for both the ball gowns and the superstar look for her wedding.” Brink may also be sportier and cool visually… preferably embracing the white wedding outfit and enjoying margarine.

“I haven’t started planning whatsoever, but I have started to think, okay, for my bachelorette, I want to do really fun outfits for everyone,⁘ Brink said

Kimberlee Speakman is a digital writer at PEOPLE. She has been working at PEOPLE since 2022. She has also worked in broadcast television as a reporter for Hawaii-based news station KHON2 News.

“I think I’m looking forward to just shopping with my mom, dress shopping, finding the dress,” she said. “But I also know I want a reception after the wedding dress, reception dress.”

The professional basketball player noted that she has thought about the wedding events “here and there,” and was certain that they would “do fun stuff” for the Bachelorette Party. As she begins brainstorming, she said that she has only had one color on her mind.

“I’m obsessed with everything white,” she said, adding, “A white suit would be really chic [for the wedding], I think.”

In the meantime, the Los Angeles Sparks player said she is trying to stay focused on the moment and enjoying her engagement with Felter, her college sweetheart who popped the question in September 2024 in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

WNBA Fashion.

The WNBA, or Women’s National Basketball Association, has become a hotbed for fashion trends, with key players showcasing their personal style on and off the court. From statement pieces to athleisure wear, the league’s top stars are bending fashion rules and breaking stereotypes, setting a new standard for women’s athleticism and style.

Take, for example, players like Breanna Stewart, Skylar Diggins-Smith, and A’ja Wilson, who have been spotted in sleek, edgy outfits that belie their tough-nosed playing styles. Their fashion sense is a far cry from the traditional sports jersey and leggings combo, instead opting for bold colors, statement accessories, and edgy silhouettes that turn heads in the fashion world.

One of the main drivers ofWNBA fashion is the league’s growing influence on popular culture. Social media has played a significant role… with players sharing images and videos of themselves in their styles, “inspiring a new generation of young women to express themselves through fashion.” The league’s collaborations with top brands and designers have elevated the profile of WNBA players and given them a platform to showcase their individuality.

Whether they’re repping luxury labels or selling their own branded merchandise, “WNBA players have become style icons,” using their platforms to challenge traditional notions of beauty and athleticism and redefine what it means to be a strong… stylish woman.
