Dr. Josh and Christi Straub joined Candace Cameron Bure’s podcast to discuss how a key perspective parents should keep in mind when raising their kids.

⁘The only person we can truly change and take 100% responsibility for is ourselves,⁘ he emphasized.

⁘And when you look at the research, you can pretty much sum up all of parenting research into one primary conclusion,⁘ he added . ⁘And that’s that our kids become who we are. And the reason for that is because more is caught than taught.⁘

Through their organization , the Straubs ⁘help leaders and families cultivate emotional connection and spiritual growth.⁘

Josh often shares different tips on his social media accounts to encourage his followers that putting in the hard work will help them in the long run.

In one post, he listed four things that he resisted doing that day: ⁘Working out,⁘ ⁘listening prayer (just making time to sit in God’s presence and listen),⁘ ⁘playing trains with my four-year-old⁘ and ⁘taking an oatmeal bath.⁘
