Schools is out and summer is here. The Augusta area has plenty of outdoor entertainment options, including festivals, farmers markets, outdoor concerts, and food trucks. With multiple holidays, such as the 4th of July, Juneteenth, and Pride Month, there will be even more festivities to enjoy. One exciting event is Grovetown Summer Jam, taking place on June 1 from 5-10 pm at Liberty Park.

This family-friendly event features ⁘⁘⁘ bands, water slides, a dunk tank, games, inflatables, and vendors. Don’t forget to bring a swimsuit and towel. Hephzibah’s Food Truck Friday and Classic Car Cruise-in is another popular event, held on the second Friday of every month from 5-9 pm at the Hephzibah Agricultural Center.

Boondock Farm’s Tomato Pie Festival is a must-visit event for food enthusiasts, taking place on July 14 from 10 am-2 pm in Jackson, “South Carolina.” In addition to purchasing fresh produce and merchandise, attendees can enjoy ⁘⁘⁘ music, “food trucks.”.. and trail hiking. Augusta Parks and Recreation’s Candlelight Music Series is a unique event that takes place every Sunday from 7:30-10 pm at the Augusta Common.

This event is free and features ⁘⁘⁘ music under the stars.

This will be a peak time for outdoor entertainment, which the Augusta area will have plenty of from festivals and farmers markets to outdoor concerts and food trucks. There will also be multiple holidays bringing even more festivities including the 4th of July, Juneteenth, and Pride Month.

But the summer in Georgia is bound to get pretty hot, which is why there is also all kinds of indoor entertainment including a wrestling match, free or discounted movie nights, and a range of shows.

Grovetown Summer Jam is 5-10 p.m. June 1 at Liberty Park in Grovetown at 1040 Newmantown Rd. There will be live bands, water slides, a dunk tank, games, inflatables, and vendors. Make sure to bring a swimsuit and towel.

The Fourth Annual Boondock Revival Music Festival will be held beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at Boondock Farms, 755 Foreman St., Jackson. The Hopelands Concert Series will be held Mondays through June 24. Aiken Civic Ballet will perform at 7 p.m. May 27 at the Roland H. Parking is at the Green Boundary Club, 780 Whiskey Road. Handicap parking is available at the Rye Patch parking lot on Berrie Road and the Hopelands Gardens parking lot.
